PEA is assisting the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) and various display manufacturers in preparation for the 2017 North American International Auto Show event held annually at Cobo Hall in Downtown Detroit. Since 1999, PEA has been performing detailed and precise survey work to assist in the construction of the extravagant displays.
Work commenced this year in early October, with PEA marking the boundaries of each display area across the entire floor of Cobo Hall. Currently, we are precisely marking thousands of points in more than a dozen displays for both international and domestic automotive companies. The layout points that PEA marks represent everything from lighting truss to turntables to intricate flooring inlays. Our work will conclude late December and the auto show will run January 8 – 22, 2017.
