Pittsfield Township, Michigan
Blue Heron Pointe is a 124-unit attached condominium project. Development of the site required extensive woodland and wetland protection. Also, a significant amount of site fill was imported in order for the area to be adequately served by utilities.
Preliminary and final site engineering, landscape plans, woodland and wetland preservation plans. The project also required the widening and resurfacing of Platt Road across the site’s frontage.
Delhi Township, Ingham County, Michigan
A 74-acre, 120-unit single-family residential community, the development is served by public streets, public utilities, walks and dedicated open space areas comprising almost one-half of the site. The stormwater management system is designed to maintain the wetland hydrology prior to its discharge into the County Drain system.
Civil engineering, surveying and landscape architecture services were provided that included conceptual planning, wetland area delineation, site planning, public water and sewer extensions, formation County Drainage District formation, MDEQ permitting, County Road Commission road dedication, geotechnical services, quality control testing and condominium exhibits.
