This project consisted of the construction of a 65,000 sf skilled nursing facility on approximately 8.9 acres. The project entailed coordination of the realignment of pre-established drainage districts that existed as part of the original overall park development. Due to the redevelopment of the site, careful consideration was given to allocate the proper amount of water to the existing drainage districts to eliminate the need for redesign of the overall stormwater management system.
Additionally, the ponds on site impacted the existing wetlands and made a wetland permit necessary from the
MDEQ in order to fill them. Several design options were considered, but ultimately the wetlands were permitted for fill in accordance with MDEQ regulations.
Surveying, civil engineering, and wetland permitting services. The scope of work included schematic design, design development, construction documents, wetland permitting, cost estimates, value engineering and entitlements.
