PEA provided landscape architecture services for site improvements on General Motors Technical Center. This 330-acre corporate campus is home to over 15,000 employees and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The campus includes over 25 buildings and 11 miles of road as well as pedestrian amenities including plazas and a 22-acre lake. PEA’s services include completing an analysis of existing site features such as perimeter fencing, sidewalks, drainage, landscaping and pavement.
PEA provided the owner with both landscape and pavement management master plans that prioritize site improvements and establish guidelines for design within the framework of the owners vision for the property. Beyond master planning and analysis services, PEA completed dozens of specific design and engineering projects on the campus including the renovation of the original Saarinen-designed 22-acre rectangular lake and is currently providing survey work at the Tech Center.
